More organisations offering internships for students with disabilities

Lianhe Zaobao, 7 Jul 2016 - Article featured how SG Enable, an agency dedicated to enabling persons with disabilities, has successfully worked with 10 additional organisations to offer internships for students with disabilities. Since 2013, the agency has helped sourced for internships for 68 students from various institutes of higher learning. A SP spokesperson shared how it can be a challenge for organisations to offer internships for students with disabilities as not every organisation has the resources to care for the student. Besides working with SG Enable to source for internships, SP also offers internships within its various academic schools and departments. A TP spokesperson also shared how the poly works with various organisations to source for internships and mentioned the importance of matching students to relevant internships and organisations.
