Olympics: Singaporean Wang Shao-Ing to officiate at rugby sevens competition

The Straits Times, 4 Aug 2016 - SP’s adjunct lecturer and national women’s rugby coach Wang Shao-Ing, will be the rugby sevens sole judicial officer at the upcoming Olympics. In her role, Shao-Ing will be tasked with ensuring clean game-play across all 76 matches in both the men's and women's events, during the three-day competition. She has the authority to determine disciplinary matters arising from players who receive a red card, or when there is a foul that a referee fails to spot.
