Recycling used parts to create his own computer

Lianhe Zaobao, 3 May 2017 - Article featured SP Institutional Medallist and Diploma in Computer Engineering graduand Benedict Lee. Since young, he was a curious boy and would take apart various electrical devices and piece them back together. During his schooling days, Benedict’s family were financially challenged and his father couldn’t afford to buy him a laptop. Benedict then took it upon himself to scavenge for used electronic parts and recycled them to build his own computer. He scored 7 points for his O levels and decided to pursue his passion in SP. Benedict will be furthering his studies in NTU.
