SP’s Purrapy help students relieve stress and learn responsibility for animals

Shin Min Daily News, 28 June 2017 - Article featured SP’s Purrapy, a cat therapy event to welcome students back for the new school term. Students were able to interact with six kittens within a designated area and the article mentioned that such animal therapy sessions are gaining traction in Singapore. The six kittens are community cats and are available for adoption. Department of Student Development and Alumni Relations manager Johnny Ong opined that there are proven benefits when humans interact with animals such as helping to reduce stress and loneliness. He also shared that the event allows students to learn more about the community cat situation in Singapore.
