First Look Asia, 13 Apr 2016 - First Look Asia, a television news programme on Channel News Asia, featured SP’s Financial Literacy Trainer Ms Peggy Chan on the topic of financial planning and saving for big ticket items. She opined that consumers should consider one-off as well as recurring costs when purchasing big ticket items, such as a car or a condominium. She also advised consumers to put in a buffer in their budget for contingencies. In addition, she mentioned the MoneySENSE -Singapore Polytechnic Institute for Financial Literacy, which provides free financial education programmes on basic money management, financial planning and investment know-how.
