Singapore Polytechnic signs MOU to provide internship opportunities for students

Capital 95.8, 10 Mar 2017 - SP will be signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with six social and community service agencies, to offer structured internships for students from the Diploma in Applied Drama and Psychology (DADP). This marks the first structured internship programme between SP and the social and community service sector. It aims to meet the growing demand for manpower in a sector that serves various vulnerable communities. Under the MOU, third-year DADP students will be attached to social and community service agencies under the mentorship of experienced professionals for 17 weeks, starting from September 2017. Students will be able to apply their knowledge and skills in applied drama to help develop intervention programmes for the agencies and evaluate its impact.
