Singtel ties up with polytechnics to help SMEs

The Straits Times, 14 Mar 2017 - Article highlighted Singtel’s tie-up with SP and NYP’s Singapore Institute of Retail Studies. This collaboration aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in the retail, and food and beverage (F&B) sectors. Under the partnership, F&B owners will be able to get advice from SP students, who will help them showcase their firms and products on the 99% SME website, and aid them in using Singtel's Connected Restaurant solution. Mr Soh Wai Wah, SP’s Principal & CEO, noted that a team of students from the business, information technology and communications disciplines has been put together especially for this initiative.  NYP students and lecturers at the school's Customer Experience and Analytics Centre will also provide support for SMEs in areas like social media marketing, online merchandising and online consumer analysis.
