Spell lands at Changi Airport

Lianhe Zaobao - 14 Dec 2014 - The Singapore Polytechnic Entrepreneurship Living Laboratory (SPELL) at Changi Airport has just been relaunched. SPELL is the first and only off-campus retail store in Singapore that is managed and run by SP students. Based on a survey conducted by SP students, the new store features brighter colours, digital signage and a new layout. SP Business School lecturer, Mr Randy Ng opined how SPELL is a learning platform for students from various diplomas as it allows students to put their entrepreneurial thinking into practice. Randy also mentioned how SPELL helps to develop confidence and communication skills in students due to their frequent interaction with customers. SP’s Diploma in Business Administration (DBA) student, Ms Jiang Wen Wen, shared how SPELL allowed her to put her DBA skills and knowledge into practice and also nurtured her dream to open her own retail store. Another Diploma in Business Information Technology student shared how he and his team spent a month to design the interactive digital signage.
