Spring Singapore aims to help firms drive topline growth

The Business Times, 27 Feb 2016 - Spring Singapore is shifting its focus towards helping companies drive topline growth with innovation as a key thrust. SP’s Food Innovation & Resource Centre (FIRC) was mentioned as a resource that companies could tap on. FIRC has already helped companies such as Freshen Group and 1 Percent LLP (Foodbox) to develop a ready-to-serve packaged soup and a ready-to-eat rice meal that requires no refrigeration despite having no added preservatives. Similar article in Channel News Asia mentioned that packaging firm Fagerdala has benefited from the support from SPRING Singapore and NYP, having rolled out a robotics system that uses smart visual recognition.
