Starbucks customer sees unsold food being discarded, gives it to migrant workers instead

Todayonline.com, 19 Jun 2016 - Article mentioned how Singapore permanent resident Ms Dipa Swaminathan was inspired to start a new initiative to redistribute unsold food to migrant workers after an afternoon coffee run at the Starbucks outlet at Singapore Polytechnic. She spotted the staff clearing away food as the branch was about to close at 4pm, and asked to pack the food for migrant workers working nearby. She later wrote about her impromptu gesture in a Facebook post, which has since gone viral.
