The Straits Times, 17 Jul 2017 - Article featured Mohammad Syafiq Mohammad Suhaini, who opted to study Media & Communication at SP despite doing well to qualify for junior college. He shared that a polytechnic education gave him more liberty to play around with subjects and discuss and debate issues. Today, he is an Nanyang Technological University (NTU) sociology graduate waiting to start his master's in sociology at Oxford University. Upon completing his studies, he will take up a research officer job at the ISEAS - Yusof Ishak Institute, which is sponsoring his studies in Oxford.
