The Straits Times, 14 Jul 2016 - Article featured the 45th anniversary of the Singapore Youth Flying Club (SYFC) and mentioned SP’s Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering student Matthew Chia as one of the 6,000 students who have learnt to fly at the club. The SYFC is open to tertiary students and aims to promote interest in aviation among youth and groom them for a potential career in the airforce.
