‘Are you sure you can achieve them?’: How to guide your kids on making New Year resolutions

01 Jan 2023

Educators say that setting new year resolutions are a great way for children to start a new year. It is a tradition for National Institute of Early Childhood Development lecturer Madam Yasotha Veerappa’s family, who introduced it to her three children when they were about seven years old. When setting goals, she mentioned to encourage children to include goals that can be accomplished easily and in a short time. As an example, her 18-year-old son Radhii Ismail who studies aeronautical engineering at SP, hopes to join a flying club in 2023.
