Businesses urged to find new ways to hire more locals

At the Berita Harian Future Economy Seminar and Dialogue, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry Chee Hong Tat urged 60 small and medium-sized enterprises to look at various types of workers for their businesses. Mr Chee also highlighted the opportunities that the Government has provided for companies looking to expand overseas, such as pop-up stalls abroad. The seminar which was held in SP also saw two food companies sharing how SP’s Food Innovation & Resource Centre has helped to innovate their products.
