Article featured SP’s diploma in applied chemistry Nur Dayyinah Aqilah Mohammad Rizal, who is an alumna of Madrasah Al-Arabiah Al-Islamiah. The 17-year-old emerged as the top madrasah student in last year’s GCE ‘O’ Levels, with seven distinctions. Her passion for the sciences started in primary school, and she had the opportunity to intern at Nano-Bio Lab in A*STAR early this year, before starting polytechnic. Dayyinah is also currently pursing a part-time diploma in Islamic studies at the Singapore Islamic Scholars & Religious Teachers Association (PERGAS).
