Confessions of a hacker

11 Jun 2018

Article featured SP alumnus Daniel Hamid, who is now a senior consultant at Centurion Information Security, Singapore's first internationally accredited firm for the delivery of penetration testing services. Daniel shared that his job scope consists more than just hacking into computer systems. He, too, has to understand his clients' needs and the data they wish to protect before coming up with solutions that will address their key concerns. Daniel also shared that he has always been fascinated by computers, ever since his dad introduced them to him when he was young. He graduated from SP in 2008 with a diploma in infocomm security management, and attained his bachelor’s degree in information technology after completing his national service.
