Covid-19 outbreak: Orders on e-commerce sites from China delayed, retailers there unresponsive

Article highlighted that customers who placed orders for parcels from China after the middle of January can expect delays due to the Covid-19 outbreak and extended Chinese New Year break in China. Mr Lucas Tok, lecturer at SP’s School of Business, opined that e-commerce companies could find it difficult to inform customers about the reasons for delayed orders as they might not know why either. He added that the situation in China is changing very quickly and there might be a mismatch of information between China and companies in Singapore.
