Diverse skill sets vital for future of S’pore: Chan Chun Sing

Article highlighted the Public Service Commission (PSC) Scholarships Award Ceremony, which was held at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel yesterday. A total of 93 scholarships were awarded to recipients from 15 different schools, of which seven were from educational institutions, including SP, Anglo-Chinese Junior College, Pioneer Junior College and St Andrew's Junior College. These schools are not part of the Integrated Programme (IP), where secondary school pupils skip the GCE O-Level examinations and work towards the A Levels and other higher certifications directly. COMMS Note: SP Diploma in Creative Writing for TV & New Media graduate and Institutional Medallist, Kirstin Yip, is the only polytechnic recipient of the scholarship.
