Eligible GCE A-Level graduates will be exempted from one semester in polytechnic from 2019 onwards

Article featured SP Diploma in Creative Writing for TV & New Media (DTVM) alumni, Esther Tan and her experience with polytechnic enrolment as a GCE A-Level graduate. Esther had always wanted to pursue a creative writing for TV & new media diploma in polytechnic but was convinced by her parents to enrol in junior college instead. She took three years to complete her A-Level examinations twice but her results were still lacking to qualify for an autonomous university. She then made the decision to enrol in SP’s DTVM but had to take a gap year because she missed the application deadline. With the new changes to the admissions exercise for A-Level graduates, Esther commented that it would have been a wish come true for her back then. She is glad to know that more A-Level graduates like will be able to pursue their dreams and benefit from the initiative.
