Employee behaviour that affects organisations in Singapore

03 Jan 2025

According to the CyberArk survey 90 per cent of Singaporean employees who responded to the study have the authority to access their company's sensitive information. What is worrying is that most employees handle this information on their own devices. In particular, 44 per cent of employees regularly download customer data and 40 per cent of employees have the authority to change company-sensitive information. "The findings of the CyberArk study emphasise the importance of human-centric security. It inspires me to create awareness about cybersecurity among the public,” said Shamir Shetty Nadarajah, 19, a cybersecurity student at SP.
