Expose students to creative thinking to solve problems: Lawrence Wong

At the Design Education Summit, Education Minister Lawrence Wong shared how design thinking can empower students to develop innovative solutions for common problems. He added that design education at Institutes of Higher Learning can be further enhanced and mentioned how SP’s Transdisciplinary Innovation Project module allows students to use design thinking to help organisations innovate. SP’s Deputy Director of the Media, Arts & Design School shared how incorporating design thinking into the curriculum allows students to pick up soft skills while helping organisations to address their challenges. Similar story reported in Berita Mediacorp and Channel 8 news.
