16 Sep 2019

During an event on 1 Oct, SP’s Food Innovation & Resource Centre (FIRC) will be showing food and beverage companies how they can develop better products, more efficient processes and product acceptance to grow their business. The event, which is organised by The Business Times in collaboration with The Future Economy Council aims to help companies gain an edge in the market. Launched in 2007, SP’s FIRC has eight labs and provides services ranging from consultancy to training and the leasing of equipment. So far, FIRC has completed more than 1,500 consultancy projects and technical services and trained over 5,000 individuals and worked with more than 700 food establishments to achieve a commercialisation rate of 38 per cent.
