Four ITE students win LKY tech award for ventilator prototype

26 May 2022

A team of four Institute of Technical Education (ITE) students received the Lee Kuan Yew (LKY) Technology Award yesterday for their work on a prototype ventilator, if successful at the trial stages, could cost just a tenth of conventional ventilators. Currently, it cost about $10,000 to make conventional ventilators. Among the students are Caleb Peh and Bryan Asael, who are currently pursuing a Diploma in Mechatronics & Robotics at SP.
