‘Frenemy’, a song for teenagers’ emotional roller coaster ride

12 Nov 2020

Article featured SP’s Diploma in Music and Audio Technology student, Nurbalqis Mohamed Muzamil, who is a singer and songwriter. She recently produced a song titled ‘Frenemy’, inspired by her own personal experiences with friends who were two faced and backstabbers. Her other song, ‘Tanda Tanya’ or ‘Question Mark’ was also produced recently. Nurbalqis shared that she is still relatively unknown in the industry, as she is not represented by a label. Despite that, she is motivated to press on and is thankful that her course in SP has helped her a lot in learning about the theoretical and technical elements in music production. Nurbalqis started singing since the age of nine, and has appeared on television as an Okto Ambassador.
