From almost dropping out of school to making Director's List, ITE student shares story of success

Article featured SP’s Diploma in Infocomm Security Technology student, Mok Ting Yuan, who is a recipient of the Ngee Ann Kongsi Gold Medal 2020 Award for ITE students. Ting Yuan almost dropped out of secondary school and was struggling to break out of the poverty cycle. He finally put his best efforts in his studies after realising that education can be an equaliser in social mobility. In ITE, he made it on the Director’s List.
