Growing appetite in S-E Asia for dairy

South-east Asia is a rapidly growing market for dairy products and many American suppliers, processors and traders are increasingly looking to this region to grow their exports. To assist these companies, the United States Dairy Export Council is working with food and beverage companies and institutions to innovate and include more dairy in food products. The council is already working with SP’s Food Innovation Resource Centre (FIRC) to gather insights on the use of dairy for students and others in the industry. It also organises innovation workshops and brings food and beverage manufacturers into FIRC’s pilot plant to experiment with ingredients and gain hands-on practical experience.
