Harapan Hasanah programme gives a second chance to ex-addicts

Masjid Hasanah has established the 'Harapan Hasanah Programme' led by the religious officer of the mosque, Ustaz Muhammad Fazli Naim. It aims to support and help ex-addicts and offenders who want to make positive changes. The programme is supported by the Reforming Support Group (RSG) and other organisations such as Family and Inmates Throughcare Assistance Haven, or Fitrah. For SP student Nurul' Hidayah Nasir, she was very impressed after attending the Drug Prevention Education Programme. According to her, by knowing the effects of taking drugs, she has "an open mind and it inspired" her to be more active in doing charity work.
