i Light Marina Bay festival to become yearly event

Channel News Asia, 27 Jan 2016 - For the first time, Asia’s leading sustainable light art festival, i Light Marina Bay, will feature light installations from SP, NYP, National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University. The annual festival will see more than 20 art installations from local and international artists light up the Marina Bay waterfront. Of the more than 20, five are designed and produced by local tertiary institutions. Article mentioned an interactive installation, Clockwork Stories, which is designed and produced by students from NYP’s Diploma in Interaction Design. This installation is made of environmental receptors, and will be activated by surrounding light sources, wind, water current and human interaction. i Light Marina Bay will run from 4 March to 27 March with free admission.
