Interview with Polytechnic student - Nabillah Bee Binte Basheer Ahmad

Broadcast featured SP alumna Nabillah Bee Binte Basheer Ahmad who is an active volunteer with elderly organisations. She graduated with a diploma in mechanical engineering and is also the recipient of the Tay Eng Soon Gold Medal. In SP, she learned that she needs to seek out her own opportunities and has a keen interest in community services and technology. Nabillah observed that the takeaway points she received from the elderly she interacted with is still applicable today. She also revealed that her parents nurtured her love for technology since young. Nabillah also shared that she is part of the community service club where she spends time with the elderly to keep them mentally and physically active. She observed that they are happy during the activities, which is a driving force for her, inspiring her to want to do more for them. Nabillah has an aspiration to shape life through technology in future. She wishes to design devices that help others lead a better life.
