ITE will invest $10 million over the next three years to install solar panels on its campuses, advancing sustainability efforts

Local tertiary institutions in Singapore are implementing various measures to promote sustainability. ITE plans to invest $10 million over three years to install solar panels and other energy-saving initiatives on campus, helping its schools achieve ultra-low energy consumption targets. Leaders from SMU, SP, and ITE discussed their institutions' plans to build climate resilience during the second SMU Sustainability Forum on Tuesday, 17 September. Mr Soh Wai Wah, Principal and CEO of SP, reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to Singapore’s Green Plan 2030, with a vision to reduce emissions by 60% by 2030 and to achieve net-zero emissions by 2045.
