Article featured the Powering Lives trail organised by Singapore’s Energy Market Authority(EMA). A total of 20 polytechnic students from NP and SP were given the opportunity to tour the inside of the Power System Control Centre and see facilities that are usually closed to the public. Two NP students who were interviewed shared that this was a rare opportunity and that they have learnt a lot from the visit. One of the interviewees, a female NP student named Zhang Lishi, also hopes that more females will join the energy industry. (Lianhe Zaobao, p6)
