18 Jan 2021
Article featured SP’s final-year Diploma in Mechatronics & Robotics student, S Naveen, who has been diagnosed with dyslexia at a young age. Despite having difficulties in spelling and processing information, he is passionate about engineering and puts in the extra hours of study and revision to keep up with his peers. He has also learnt to overcome naysayers who might not understand his condition. Naveen’s hard work pulled off, as his team’s final-year project was chosen as one of the top three projects to be featured at SP’s Engineering Show 2021. He hopes to pursue his studies in mechanical engineering at NTU or NUS, to fulfil his dream of becoming an engineer.
