New scheme to offer training on smart estates

SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) have launched the Smart Estates Talent Development Programme (SETDP) to train 300 Singaporeans in designing, building and maintaining smart estate. Smart estates refer to estates that leverage smart technologies including artificial intelligence, 5G technology as well as augmented and virtual reality to enrich the lives of the community. SSG and IMDA have signed a memorandum of understanding with various organisations including SP, TP and the Singapore Institute of Technology to co-develop and pilot the programme.
