Normal stream student achieves his dream of becoming a doctor

Article featured SP’s Diploma in Biomedical Science graduate Tan Jun Xiang. Despite coming from the Normal Stream, Jun Xiang enjoyed the sciences and applied to read biomedical science at SP. While interning as a medical technologist at a hospital laboratory that processed patients' blood and other samples, where he also shadowed a few doctors, he developed an interest in medicine. Jun Xiang went on to pursue medicine at the National University of Singapore and is currently working at the National University Hospital.
