27 May 2019

Article featured SP’s Diploma in Nautical Studies student, Muhammad Khidir Abdul Karim, who is currently sailing on his attachment. The article highlights his challenges being at sea during the fasting month, where he has to manually figure out his coordinates to ascertain when he is able to break his fast. This is the first time Khidir is celebrating Hari Raya away from his family, as he will only be back on shore in four months. Despite missing his family and the festivities, he is grateful for the opportunity to travel to Panama this Hari Raya.
