Persistence pays off although it was difficult moving from secular school to a madrasah

Article featured Ahmad Faris Abdul Latteef, who enrolled in the Madrasah Al-Arabiah Al-Islami (MAI), after his primary school education in a secular primary school, Hougang Primary School. The seventh of 10 siblings, he achieved a distinction grade, a grade A, a B, three C and an E for his O levels. Ahmad Faris plans to pursue a Diploma in Business Administration at SP.
