Polytechnic students conceptualise ‘smart’ band to detect heatstroke and dehydration

Two NP students took home the top prize of $3,000 with their winning idea at the Cogito Ideation Competition organised by SP’s Diploma in Engineering with Business students. The team’s entry of a ‘smart’ band that can detect heatstroke and dehydration was well-received by a panel of industry judges. Besides winning a cash prize, the two NP students will also have the opportunity to translate their idea into reality at the ideaBox, an idea translation lab set up by SP and SP Group.
