Polytechnics introduces new diplomas, teaching models to meet needs of the future workplace and attract more students to enrol

Article outlined new diplomas offered by all five polytechnics including SP’s new Diploma in Media, Arts & Design. NP launched a new diploma in data science and introduced a new Business Digitalization Track for final year students taking their diploma in Business Studies, International Trade & Business and Tourism & Resort Management. In 2020, 25 students took up the digitalization track. RP introduced two new full-time diplomas in sustainable built environment and in environmental and marine science. According to RP, 100 students enrol for the diploma in Sustainable Built Environment every year. TP’s new offerings are: Diploma in Applied Artificial Intelligence, Diploma in Architectural Technology & Building Services. NYP is adopting a new teaching and learning model, Professional Competency Model from this year onwards.
