07 Jan 2022

On Friday 7 January, Second Minister for Education Dr Maliki Osman announced that polytechnics will explore having a more flexible curriculum for selected students who would benefit from spreading out their learning over more than three years. This was among six recommendations following a review of Singapore’s poly and ITE education. SP PCEO Soh Wai Wah said that SP will look at how it can support enterprising students to bring their budding business ideas to fruition without the pressure of completing their studies within three years. There were also comments by the other poly PCEOs regarding these recommendations. Similar news reported in all SPH newspapers and Mediacorp publications.
