Power and precision: The art and science behind Loh Kean Yew’s smash

Article featured a video dissection of local badminton athlete Loh Kean Yew’s racquet smash, which required Loh to put on 14 sensors on his limbs and chest to allow his movements to be captured by three motion-capture cameras. The Straits Times’ interactive graphics team worked with a group of SP School of Media, Arts & Design school students and their lecturers Kenny Ong and Christian James to make this feature possible.
