Proud to pioneer service at the NEWater factory

Mr Nasharudin Supa'at started as a plant operator at the NEWater plant which was launched in Bedok in 2003. Looking back on that experience, Mr Nasharudin who is now the Deputy General Manager at the Chestnut Avenue Waterworks water treatment plant – a facility which is also owned by the national water agency (PUB) - expressed pride in being one of the pioneer operators for NEWater in Singapore. His interest in engineering started when he took up Mechanical Engineering at SP. He added that it remains a sweet memory even with the closure of the factory on 31 July.
