Prudential Insurance launches global artificial intelligence lab in Singapore

Prudential, a publicly listed insurance company, has established its global Artificial Intelligence Lab (Prudential AI Lab) in Singapore. This lab is dedicated to developing highly personalised healthcare, financial, and other services and products for its customers. Supported by the Ministry of Digital Development and Information, the Singapore Economic Development Board, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the new lab aims to better integrate artificial intelligence into the company's operations, services, and products. Since the lab began its pilot operations in August this year, employees from 24 of the company's markets in Asia and Africa have submitted over 100 real-world cases to the lab for the development of improved AI solutions. The new lab has also partnered with leading academic institutions such as NUS, SMU, RP, and SP to provide internship and other practical platforms for students.
