Punggol Coast MRT station on North East Line to open for passenger service on Dec 10

The upcoming SIT campus will have access to one of Punggol Coast station’s exits at its doorstep. Mr Sutheshnaidu Supramaniam, a third-year engineering student at SIT, was pleased to learn about the early opening of Punggol Coast station. He travels to the Punggol campus twice a week for co-curricular activities and welcomes the convenience. On days when he attends lessons at SIT's SP campus, the 22-year-old plans to take the East-West Line from Dover station, transfer to the Circle Line, and then switch to the North East Line to reach the Punggol campus via the new station. However, when heading to the Punggol campus from his home in Pasir Ris, he still prefers cycling for 30 minutes.
