‘Rebel’ who was caned for fighting, being violent towards his teacher in secondary school met good teachers who changed his life

Article featured SP alumni, Goh Jiahui who will be graduating from NTU with top honours in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Since young, he always got into fights and was very rebellious. Jiahui only turned his life around after meeting his form teacher in Secondary three. He studied aeronautical engineering in SP and was also an Excellence Award winner. Jiahui went on to further his studies in NTU with an ST Engineering scholarship.
