Retrofitted cargo carts with smart technology for recycling to be trialled in Punggol

SP and waste management company SembWaste have embarked on a three-months pilot to trial recycling of plastic bottles in Punggol. The plastic bottle recycling programme, called Rebottle, will see collection points being installed in ten HDB flats and two supermarkets to increase the recycling rate of plastic bottles.
