Sailing solo in an industry dominated by men

Article featured SP’s Diploma in Nautical Studies graduate Lina Soho and Diploma in Marine Engineering graduate Wan Fei Fei. Both Lina and Fei Fei began their careers as seafarers after graduation. In the article, Lina and Fei Fei shared the challenges they faced at sea as women only comprise 2 per cent of the global maritime workforce. Both women also shared how their seafaring experiences have helped them in their current roles. Lina is currently an operations manager with a shipping company and Fei Fei is an assistant director in the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore.
