SG:D Scholarship poly recipient aspires to work in the technology sector to help more Singaporeans achieve digital skills

Article featured SP’s Diploma in Infocomm Security Management student, Alwis Lim Wei Yao who is one of the recipients of the Singapore Digital (SG:D) Scholarship. He shared that he loved playing computer games since young and he learned how to write code to increase the difficulty of the games he played when he was in secondary school. When he was in Secondary Four, he participated in a training camp organised by a polytechnic and the Cyber Security Agency and was inspired to pursue further studies related to cyber security. He is happy to have received the scholarship and hopes to contribute to the nation’s fight against cyber security threats.
