SIA is Singapore's favourite brand

Article highlighted that The Straits Times, DBS and POSB banks are among positively perceived brands by Singaporean consumers, according to a study by British-based independent research firm YouGov. A total of 365 brands in Singapore were ranked based on factors such as consumers' perception of a brand's overall quality, value, impression, reputation, satisfaction and whether consumers would recommend the brand to others. Mr Amos Tan, senior lecturer in marketing and retail at SP, opined that consumers are likely to pick brands they are most exposed to. Mr Lucas Tok, marketing and retail lecturer at SP, opined that brands in the top 10 have resonated well with Singaporeans. (The Straits Times, pB1)
