Singapore Polytechnic: Shaping a Tech-Ready Generation
07 Jan 2025
SP is set to showcase the future of technology and innovation at its Open House 2025 from 9 to 11 January. This year’s event spotlights groundbreaking projects through the Industry & Innovation (I&I) Showcase and the Business Essentials Through Action (BETA) programme, reflecting SP’s commitment to preparing students for a tech-driven world. In a move to enhance digital readiness, SP’s School of Computing (SoC) will offer exemptions for first-year students who have completed O-Level Computing. Eligible students can skip up to two fundamental modules, freeing 135 hours for advanced industry training. SP is also dedicated to providing accelerated academic pathways for students aiming to further their education. Through its Accelerated Pathway Programmes, students can fast-track their university studies by up to one year. These pathways are recognised by leading local universities. Beyond the showcases and programmes, the SP Open House 2025 offers visitors an immersive experience into the campus culture and educational opportunities available.
