SP marked its 70th anniversary by hosting the International Learning Festival (ILF) 2024, gathering nearly 800 education leaders from 147 Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) worldwide. The event focused on advancements in teaching, particularly in Generative AI and sustainability, showcasing SP's leadership in technology-driven education. Minister of State for Education, Ms Gan Siow Huang, praised SP’s role in shaping Singapore’s education through innovation, while SP's Principal and CEO, Mr Soh Wai Wah, highlighted the institution's commitment to global partnerships and cutting-edge technology. Key initiatives like the SP LeX Programme and SP’s leadership in CDIO further demonstrate its dedication to addressing educational challenges through AI and sustainability. The festival exemplified SP’s forward-thinking approach, positioning it at the forefront of technological transformation in education.
